Sorry, but what is the question?

What exactly is the problem you have?

Can you not even get to an install prompt?
Or is there a problem after installing.

If you want an easy to use distro then I would suggest Mandrake 8.1

OK, so you've burned them to CD. Did you burn it as an image file, or did you actually burn the file itself? i.e when you access the CD from within Windows, how many files do you see?

Oh, and please don't shout.

Listen - I still don't understand what what your problem exactly is, so I'll make a guess. Saying you can't install something is never very helpful to anyone unless you explain the steps which you followed, and the point at which you failed to continue to install it - and if any error messages appeared.

So let me get this straight.

You have burned a the image onto CD, put the cd in the drive, then expected it to load up after you restarted the computer?

and what happened? Did the computer boot straight through to windows. Do you have windows on it? Is your computer set to boot up cd's (from the BIOS).

Or was the cd recocognised and but it just stopped? did you see anything?

Can you understand our problem now?
