eject is actin a foo

This thing seems too much n00b to be a rather large problem, so I'm posting it here.

Well, I've done a revdep-rebuild recently on Gentoo as well as a complete system recompile, and eject is b0rk3d. Fixed the problem as much as I could, but only now I get this error:
Code:
Box phy # eject -v
eject: using default device `cdrom'
eject: device name is `cdrom'
eject: expanded name is `/dev/cdrom'
eject: `/dev/cdrom' is a link to `/dev/hdc'
eject: `/dev/hdc' is mounted at `/mnt/dvd'
eject: unmounting device `/dev/hdc' from `/mnt/dvd'
Error: mount point /mnt/dvd is not below /media/
eject: unmount of `/mnt/dvd' failed
It sees the device, but it still won't umount? wtfux?

Anyone know what's up with this b0rk3d thing?

Ejects fine under /media, but I don't like it bein' under media, I'm too in love with /mnt, as it's faster to type.

No. There isn't even an entry in fstab for it. I've been doing it for a while before I updated my system.

Have you tried adding one?

eject seems to use pumount command from pmount package if it is available, and its man page explains quite clearly what is going on.

Me too. They take the same number of keystrokes if you have only one of them (/, m, tab). If you have both, that adds one keystroke to each, or two plus a "WTF?!"-pause in my case because I press tab instinctively after the m . So having both is bad, and removing /mnt would cause problems sooner or later because some programs assume that it exists.

You're assuming I'm using QWERTY.

Anyways, adding a fstab entry helped. Yeah, I've been using Gentoo for over 4 months now, but yet I can still be a noob.

Thanks.
