Hello, everyone.
I am running SuSE Linux Professional 8.2 (with KDE 3.1.1) and I recently started having a problem at startup: Either the ZIP (external USB) OR the Floppy (internal) drive icon does not appear. Never do BOTH icons fail to appear; it's either one or the other.
The problem occurs when I login to my user account and also when I login as root. I did a clean installation of SuSE 8.2 and the problem has been occurring only during the last couple of weeks. (I have not made any hardware changes.)
I am attaching a copy of my 'fstab' file. Are there any other files that I should check?
I would be very grateful for any suggestions or ideas.
Thank you very much, in advance!
Cordially,
David
