Edit file via terminal.

  1. Do you need a special text editor or can gedit be used?
  2. What is the code needed to edit my file, i.e. I'll want to edit the last line of Edit /etc/default/virtualbox-ose and set LOAD_VBOXDRV_MODULE to 0.

The OS is Debian 6 & Merry Christmas Eve!

You could use gedit, but you'll probably need to be root to edit the file. Since you mention the terminal, then maybe you'd prefer nano or vi.
