eciadsl (usb modem)

well I installed everything as i should. But i can't get my modem to work properly... i get this error while entering the startmodem command:

Code:
loading UHCI support
Note: /etc/modules.conf is more recent than /lib/modules/2.4.20/modules.dep
/lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/drivers/usb/usb-uhci.o.gz: init_module: No such device
/lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/drivers/usb/usb-uhci.o.gz: Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg
/lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/drivers/usb/usb-uhci.o.gz: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/drivers/usb/usb-uhci.o.gz failed
/lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/drivers/usb/usb-uhci.o.gz: insmod usb-uhci failed
couldn't load usb-uhci module
once i could get it to work, but when i wanted to open a web page or something it just didn't work. Then I tried to connect to ftp.belnet.be. I got the login message and all, but when i wanted to receive the folder (just to see the folders, i can't see any folders!) It just didn't work. it's like i can't get any data in. but when i try to ping my irc server or something that did work... it's all strange. i use the drivers from http://eciadsl.flashtux.org . Anyone here who can help.. can it all be caused by the error above?

Thanks
