Easy for most ... Please help....

Guys how do the second step... or just explain it... I cannot play games on my linux machine using java....

Java Runtime Environment
Version: 1.4.2_05 or later

1. Install Java Runtime Environment.
*2*. Make a symbolic link to libjavaplugin_oji.so in your Mozilla Plugins directory.

The error that I get is: This page contains information of a type (application/x-java-vm) that can only be viewed with the appropriate Plug-in.

Its been at least a year.... I give up every couple months and try again... because its so aggrivating.

PC INFO:
Redhat 9.0
1.2 GIG AMD
10 GIG HD maxtor
256 MB DDR

Im running Fedora, so I dont know if this will work for Suse, however, give it a try
go to:
http://java.com/en/download/help/linux_install.jsp and follow the instructions download the rpm
then do the following:
chmod a+x j2re-1_4_2_05-linux-i586-rpm.bin
./j2re-1_4_2_05-linux-i586-rpm.bin next say yes to the liscence agreement
next install the rpm as follows
rpm -iv j2re-1_4_2_05-linux-i586.rpm
when is done installing you need to change directory
cd /usr/lib/mozilla-1.7.2/plugins, next you need to make a slink
ln -s /usr/java/j2re1.4.2_05/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32/libjavaplugin_oji.so,
again this worked for fedora, not sure if it will work for Suse, good luck
