Easiest Way to Get Kickstart Working?

For the past few weeks I've been working to get Kickstart to work in VirtualBox either ftp or http, and with no success.

I did find this

http://modlearning.com/centos/buildi...-hat-centos-6/

This URL has the most detail that I have found online when it comes to detailing what it takes to have a successful Kickstart install. Most documentation I've see basically says to point ks=http://192.168.xx.xx, check IPTables and SELinux and off you go. Not really true.

Any recommendations?

Or any gotcha that someone could point out?

Well, what errors are you getting? You hint that it's not working, but without knowing where it fails, there's not much we can speculate on.

Are you trying to do a network boot, or loading from CD/DVD, then doing kickstart from there? VLAN issues can sometimes cause problems, since you get VERY basic networking in the installer...a helper address on your router is sometimes in order.
