Earthlink DSL on Suse 9.0 pro


hi I recently bought Suse 9.0 pro because I wanted to try to migrate from windoze to Linux and I wanted to have an easy start, but unfortunately because I'm a newbie I'm not being able to setup my earthlink DSL connection , can anyone help me with this ? Earthlink doesn't offer any kind of supporte for linux whatsoever , Can anyone help me please ?

are you behind a router? or is your computer tied directly to the modem?
