e16 help files?
I recently compiled Enlightenment 0.16.8.1 and have been enjoying it ever since. However, I've gotten curious about some of the more technical ins and outs of the WM. Naturally I tried to consult the help files, only to find them missing. I've been completely unable to find them anywhere on my system. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Yes, I have some suggestions: try /usr/share/doc/enlightenment, or find -iname '*enlightenment*', or locate enlightenment, or have a look at the list of files installed by the enlightenment package, or install the enlightenment-doc package. If you did any of those, written it in your first post. Note that "written" is used in the past tense imperative form.

Gee, I appreciate your trolling, jonaskoelker; I didn't realize I was wasting your valuable time by posting on a message board. Yeah, I checked the usual places, did a couple of different iterations of search patterns with find and locate, and I've checked out the source I have for enlightenment as thoroughly as I care to at the moment. I have never encountered an enlightenment-doc package, but if you would kindly provide me with someplace I could find such a thing I would appreciate it a good deal.

I sincerely hope it's of some use to you. |
I apologize. I took some of the comments in the last sentence of your first post in bad faith. Actually, you were quite helpful in leading me to believe that the docs were a seperate package and eventually found it on sourceforge. Thanks for your help.
