Ok, I have changed it.
I can now make updates with apt-get update without Errors, but I even cannot connect to my phpmyadmin server with 00.000.00.000/phpmyadim on firefox (0 Stands only for a number from 1-9)

Now I tried to reinstall phpmyadmin, so I used the command
Quote:
apt-get --purge remove phpmyadmin
And then
Quote:
apt-get install phpmyadmin
But now I get this Error:
Quote:
E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (11: Resource temporarily unavailable)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), is another process using it?
Please answer soon!
Thanks

It's a volunteer forum, you will get an answer when someone has the time and will to give one.

Looks like apt or dpkg is running in the background, perhaps an automated update?

When did I say something against that it is a volunteer forum? I am very happy that EDDY1 helps me, but he only can write back once a day so I asked for a faster awnser, because he is the only who can help me..
Sorry if you unterstand it wrong (my English isnīt the best so I donīt know exactly what I write so I am very happy about the help from EDDY1)

What did you mean with apt or dkpg? How can I check that or cancel that?
(I had run a Minecraft Server in the Background but I know have stopped it only ingame with /stop because i canīt use it when my Problem with phpmyadmin isnīt solved)

I answer as soon as I see any post but sometimes I may not provide an answer if there is a good answer on the board, so as not to push the answer to the top of the page.

But as szboardstretcher stated another process in using dpkg. This will happen if you have automatic updates, synaptic or another installation running.

As far as phpmyadmin I know it exists but not how to configure. We can learn together though.

ok, I will reply within a few minutes, if you write to the present time (or 4 hours before to yet). But the last days you have answered when it was 3 AM (Local time with me).

Thanks,
and did you know how can I check if there are any updates or what can I do?

I'm here quite often but I've been really busy trying to get a business off the ground. The majority of the time I'm here most of the day. What timezone are you in? That may be part of the explanation also.

Since you purged your package run apt-get update then try to reinstall.

After you get it installed here's some useful documentation along with tutorials.
http://www.phpmyadmin.net/home_page/docs.php

BTW it's almost 2pm here in California/US

Then you'll have to remove the lock
You need to see what process is running run
Quote:
top
If the process isn't supposed to be running kill it.
Quote:
kill <pid>
Also you should comment out theses 2 entries
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/webupd8team/java/ubuntu/ precise main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/webupd8team/java/ubuntu/ precise main
Then run all of the commands that got you to this point
