Cool E-mail Evolution veiwing HTML Format


Hi All

Can Someone help me...when I get an e-mail in a html format the pictures and the links don't appear.. Were do I go and set Evolution to connect to my web browser which is Mozilla...as you would do if you had windows internet explore and outlook express...??

This is a security feature, it only shows the raw html code at first, to turn the pictures on click

view > Message Display > Load Images

This will cause them to appear.

Tried that did not work....am connecting through a local area network, that goes threw a proxy linux server...

Try Evolution Settings...

You can tell Evolution to always load the images:

Tools => Settings => Mail Preference => HTML Mail
Here you check 'Always load images off the net'...

Hi rm6990

When and tried that setting of yours ....close the evolution and open it again still no go....
Is their any way of telling mozilla that your default e-mail program is evolution....like you would do in internet explore ....

hi dave!

i am not sure about mozilla. gnome is my desktop environment and i use epiphany for browsing the web... so gnome is handling all calling_the_correct_program stuff...

in the 'Desktop Preferences' => 'Advanced' => 'File Types and Programs' there is 'evolution %s' set for 'Electronic mail transmission'.

sorry, but i guess that doesn't help you much...
