E-mail Evolution veiwing HTML Format
Hi All
Can Someone help me...when I get an e-mail in a html format the pictures and the links don't appear.. Were do I go and set Evolution to connect to my web browser which is Mozilla...as you would do if you had windows internet explore and outlook express...?? Thanks..........! Dave |
This is a security feature, it only shows the raw html code at first, to turn the pictures on click
view > Message Display > Load Images This will cause them to appear. |
Hi rm6990
Tried that did not work....am connecting through a local area network, that goes threw a proxy linux server... |
Try Evolution Settings...
You can tell Evolution to always load the images:
Tools => Settings => Mail Preference => HTML Mail Here you check 'Always load images off the net'... Hope that helps! |
Hi rm6990
When and tried that setting of yours ....close the evolution and open it again still no go.... Is their any way of telling mozilla that your default e-mail program is evolution....like you would do in internet explore .... Thanks....!!! Dave.... |
hi dave!
i am not sure about mozilla. gnome is my desktop environment and i use epiphany for browsing the web... so gnome is handling all calling_the_correct_program stuff... in the 'Desktop Preferences' => 'Advanced' => 'File Types and Programs' there is 'evolution %s' set for 'Electronic mail transmission'. sorry, but i guess that doesn't help you much... |
