DVD viewing through X server

Hi

I have a laptop with DVDUnit, Knoppix and Xine installed.

I've connected an old computer (Pentium @ 500MHz) to this laptop via its network card. It does not have a DVD unit, just simple CD one.

I have a Live Morphix CD running on this old computer, so I though I might get it connecting to the laptop's X server, so that the DVD can be watched from the old computer.

Is this possible at all?

I guess it may (or may not) work using something
like RSCSI if the player supports that. Just redirecting
the output of the video might be dissatisfactory because
of the lack of sound.

Cheers,
Tink

Thanks Tink.
It turns out that my xine config is only working with certain DVDs, so I can't even operate it properly on my own machine, never mind through an xserver - ha!
In any case, video is darned complicated. Good point about the sound.
Project abandoned.
