Exclamation DVD+rw??

Anyone know how to go about setting up a DVD+RW with Slackware?
I installed K3B but it picked up my DVD+RW as a cd reader, I tried to tell it to goto /dev/hdc
but it wont take it. The drive wont Play/Read/Burn anything, its almost completly inactive.

thanks in advance

:-)

I got it up and running, I relised that I was using an old version of k3b. The newer version found dvdrw no problem, this then seemed to become system wide( two disk drives come up, both can be mounted)

phew!
