hi everybody.....i've 2 questions, where can i get a good dvd player(software) for linux, and how or where can i make turn up the volume?
because my music sounds, but really low and i dont know how make it sound louder?
thanks
For DVD players you can use xine, mplayer and videolan. Depending on what distribution you use, you may already have these packages on you installation disks or the distributions software repositories. I personally use xine with the kaffeine or totem frontends.
For your sound, try running "alsamixer" in a console and increase your volume levels then do "alsactl store" as root.
