DVD not working
 

I've bought a new NEC DVD-R and installed it in my computer. First it was working very well - I was able to watch movies and burn cds and dvds. But yesterday it wasn't able to read any data mediums. I've checked the mount point, etc. and everything seems to be in order. Does anyone know what is the reason? It works OK under WinXP.

well what actually happens? why do you say you can't use it?? some sort of error message? any particular application? we're not psychic... ;)

hmm... just as I've written. Nothing happens:) . No error message or something like that. The folder where DVD is mounted is empty although I've tried to change the mount point. It happens with all my (and not my) DVDs and CDs.
