dumb KDE taskbar question

I dont have the volume control on my KDE task bar. I mainly use gnome, and have no problem there. Can anyone tell me how to add it? I dont see it in the "add to taskbar" list.

Using Fedora Core v.1

Thank you!

You have to open up kmix then click on settings --> Configure kmix --> check in Dock in panel and enable system tray icon

This will then give you a system tray icon for volume control.

You may need to install the kdemultimedia rpm. First click on the menu and select run command and try entering kmix, if kmix is installed it will open up, it just may not be in your menu, if you don't have kmix you will have to install kdemultimedia rpm.
