i am trying to set up to monitors, can someone explain what i have to put in the xorg.conf file or poit me in the right dirrection?

Sure, what video card(s) are you using? If you have an Nvidia card, do a search for xinerama. Essentially, you will make another entry in the device section for your second head/card, then another monitor section with the specs for your second monitor. Last you set the screen settings.

What distro are you using?
