In a couple of days my controller card and cables will be hear so I can put a second hard drive in my main box, now that I've experimented on an old one and know a little more about Linux. What I need to know is how to configure this set up. My plan, plug the two HD's into the controller card and everything else; cdrom,DVD,Zip, into the motherboard slots. I then will make 1 10gig HD windows and the other Linux. Should they have the jumper pins set to master/slave with the master being the window HD since boot info will be there, or should they both be masters since they will be used seperatly and will not be wired in series. My instinct says master/slave since I will have LILO on C:\ but I'm not sure enough to do it without asking first.

I would have the Windows HD set as master, it seems to not like being in a slave state. I have encountered problems with this, so it is best to keep Windows as Master, Linux as Slave, even though we know in the real world this isn't the case. Hehe.

Actually, Windows requires that it be installed on hda1. If you want to install Linux on your primary master, you're going to have to give up Windows entirely.
