Dual booted Thinkpad R31 with XP and Mandrake 10.0.
Recently configured my IBM Thinkpad R31 to a dual boot operation with XP and Mandrake 10.0 at startup. I have not been able to go online in linux yet and keep getting the message that my modem cannot be detected. The internal modem that the Thinkpad uses is a Lucent Technologies soft modem AMR. I can still go online with XP but need some idea on how to get linux to recognize my modem. Any suggestions or instructions would be really appreciated. So far I'm really impressed with Mandrake 10.0.
