dual boot XP&Linux modem question
 
i have a cable modem configured and working properly with Windows XP. (its so great - 1.5mb downstream!) will that work with the linux i am about to install or will i have to configure it in linux also?

how is it connected? if it's on ethernet then it SHOULD work straight out of the box really. if it's usb then you'll probably need some drviers from somewhere or other.

u mean if the CABLE MODEM BOX is on the ethernet or USB?
