Dual boot with lilo on laptop

I just did a fresh install of Slack 9.0 on my thinkpad. My partitions are as follow:

/dev/hda1 * 1 271 2048728+ 7 HPFS/NTFS
/dev/hda2 272 536 2003400 83 LINUX
/dev/hda3 537 801 2003400 83 LINUX
/dev/hda4 802 839 287280 82 LINUX Swap

My laptop does not have a floppy drive, otherwise I'd usually just use a boot disk for linux. I installed lilo to the MBR. Is there a way to add to my lilo.conf an option to boot to my boot.ini on /dev/hda1 or should I break out the Windows 2000 disk and use FIXMBR to restore the windows MBR and go about dual booting with another method.

Just add the following lines to your lilo.conf:

other=/dev/hda1
label="windows"
table=/dev/hda

and then run
/sbin/lilo

You'll now see windoiws as an entry in the lilo prompt.
