Dual Boot With Dual sata H/D's

Hi I have recentley installed Fedora core 4 on my second sata h/d
(XP on first sata H/D) now almost everything went right with the dual boot except for one thing, I can only acess each O/S by configuring my BIOS(swapping H/D's in boot) When booting from second H/D, when reaching the screen that gives O/S option if i choose XP i recieve this notice

Booting 'windows xp'
rootnoverfy (hd1,0)
chainloader +1

Then the process will not continue..so somewhere during install. i must have made an improper selection ..perhaps with the GRUB or partition selections..If someone could help me that would be great!.....now as i'm extremeley new to Linux, if i have to retrieve info could you please point me in the right dir. ...Thanks

Login to Fedora and edit the /boot/grub/grub.conf file with a text editor and replace the rootnoverify line as below:
Quote:
Booting 'windows xp'
rootnoverfy (hd0,0)
chainloader +1
Please search the forums and google as these kinds of questions are asked almost daily. If you can, learn about grub and troubleshooting and you'll be able to solve most grub-booting problems.

Tux,
