Dual Boot Problem - Zorin 8.1 and XP

I've installed Zorin 8.1 on my PC that already runs XP. Even though I did the "along side" type of installation, and things seemed to install OK, no boot selection now appears on computer start up and the PC quickly just goes to Zorin - I have no way to select XP.

I'm brand new to Linux and don't know how to solve this problem. Thank you for any help you can offer!

Boot Zorin. Open a terminal window. Type the following: sudo os-prober, hit the Enter key. You will be prompted for your user password. Watch the output to see if there is mention of xp. If so, run: sudo update-grub, hit the Enter key and enter your user password then watch the output. Reboot.

While you are in the terminal type the following: sudo fdisk -l(Lower Case Letter L in the command) and post the output here if you still need help.

Try holding down the shift key when the computer is first turned on to see if a menu appears.

Zorin 8.1 and XP dual boot problems continue---

Thanks so much for your help and suggestions! If it matters, the Zorin edition is 32 bit for my HP computer.

Yes, XP was mentioned in the output I viewed. I did the sudo update-grub and rebooted. Here's the output:

Options:
-b<size> sector size(512, 1024, 2048 or 4096)
-c[=<mode>] compatible mode: 'dos' or 'nondos' (default)
-h print this help text
-u[=<unit>] display units:'cylinders' or 'sectors' (default)
-v print program version
-C<number> specify the number of cylinders
-H<number> specify the number of heads
-S<number> specify the number of sectors per track

For the suggestion made by colorpurple21859:

Holding down the shift key (when turning on the computer)
did not bring up a menu of any kind.

Thank you for any help you can offer!

If you saw xp in the output of os-prober and update-grub, there should have been a new menu file (grub.cfg) created with an xp entry. To get more information on your partitions and boot files, go to the site below. Read the instructions in the link in the Description box, then download and run the script. It will output a results.txt file which you can post here for help.
