dual boot.....how do I?

I am using a dual boot with Vista and Mint. Is there any way to access files and docs on my vista partition through the linux OS? I have files that I need to be able to access on the vista side, but I don't know how to find them from the linux side. Please help.

Try this ..

Check if u have a fat filesystem for ur windows, so it can be easily auto mounted , else if its a NTFS , try to install a ntfs-driver application frm Add/Remove menu. Try this !!

in the synaptic package manager I am showing that I have a pkg called ntfsprogs installed. Is that what you are talking about?

click that , it will show a menu to check to write /read, check and wait to apply by linux

Then u can see ur partition

I guess I'm not sure what you mean by click that. I can only see it in the synaptic pkg mngr. If I click it, it just gives me the option to uninstall or reinstall. I need to find out how to do this from an app that is installed. I can not find this ntfsprogs in my application start menu. Is there something else? some other way of doing this?
