Do you have a MBR formated disk ?
Can you post an image of the partitions as seen by Windows Disk Management ?

Hello barry,

You might have chose wrong option and forwarded for installation. Otherwise there is an option of create custom layout while choosing the type of installation. Just choose create custom layout from type of installation and then you will get the screen to choose on which partition you want to install your OS.

I'm attaching an image of type of installation for your help.

you might want to read the install docs
http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/...ide/index.html
and a bit of research
the OEM puts a Hidden " Microsoft recovery" partition on the beginning of the drive ( MS policy change on install dvd's )
this messes up ALL Linux and Mac installs .
