dual boot 2 drives
Windows XP on drive C ; One partition on drive C:
To put RH 9 on drive D: Does drive C: need a place ( a partition on C) to install GRUB on so that this runs at boot allowing the user the option to pick which OS to boot? GRUB has to go on drive C correct? With XP on C the master drive could I simply make it the slave and put Linux on the drive and make it the master. Would this work or be simplier or rock the boat? thank you craig |

Grub should be on your primary HDD, but not in what you refer to as C ... install it to the MBR of your master hard disk. Cheers, Tink |
