du problem


mandrake 10.0
i have some strange error in du.
when i see a file size in command mode that is only 201MB
when i see using graphics mode the total size is 150MB

NOTE:I HAVE ENABLED A SHOW HIDE FILES ALSO.
then why the this much error in calculating the capacity.

[staff@ staff]$ du navaladi/ -s
201M rdraj/
[staff@ staff]$

Note that correct usage is du -s FILE, not du FILE -s.
What tool do you use to see the space taken in GUI mode?

i have akonqueror file browser in KDE.
