Dsl configuration
 

I just installed Linux for the first time. It is Mandrake 9.0

As i was installing it a wizard popped up to configure my web access. I knew all the setting except one. It was something like "what is your host name" I left it blank but now im not able to connect to the internet.

Is there a way i can pull up this wizard again?

that will bring it up for you. i haven't put anything in that area for a long time and it's always worked for me. what you might be experiencing is that your /etc/resolve.conf isn't listing your nameservers.

how is it that it doesn't connect? can you see anything? or do you get error messages? i know that in slack it can give you, did me, some problems when things aren't configured just right. off the top of my head i can't remember exactly how i fixed it, but if you still have problems with it, i or another will help you out.
