DSL Boot Error

I downloaded DSL and Qemu and followed the instruction on the DSL Wiki here
As I booted my machine I got "Boot Error" message, just the "Boot Error" phrase on a black screen.

I made sure my bios booted from flash driver first, My hard drive has a SATA connection, I have 2GB RAM and 160GB Hard Drive.
I used 2 flash drives Gegabite 512MB and Kingston 8GB

I wonder wts wrong, can anyone help?

that wiki looks fairly messy if you just want linux on a usb stick? or try linux?

could you tell us exactly what you want to do please?

if you just want a linux bootable usb stick I would partition that 8g and have a 2g partition for slax and balance leave as fat for ms land.

slax is very easy to install to usb stick

Actually I want both. I want to learn more about Linux without having to switch between the 2 systems, and I want to have Linux on a pen drive for emergencies or using on different computers.

I'll take a look at the link you provided and I thank you for providing it in the 1st place,

Yet I need to learn wt I did wrong in the DSL USB install, I followed the instructions to the letter yet it simply didn't work...
