DSL and Mandrake 9.1

I recently upgraded to DSL service because I was tired of having a slow dialup connection not to mention I have a Win modem (which I tried for a week to get going and never did because my chip set is not supported). I used Win Me to download Mandrake 9.1 and installed it on my second hard drive with no problems. I am extremely new to DSL and Linux so please be simplistic in your answer. How do I set up my DSL Connection with Mandrake 9.1. I have found out that my service uses PPPoE and that is just about all I know about.

i also have a DSL connection that requires PPPOE to logon. There's a utility called rp-pppoe that you can use to connect to your service. It's quite straightforward, and you can get it here:
