check out this link for ethernet etheros driver:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/atheros-atl2/

you might need another PC to download the file and copy that to your RH box.

once the internet is working type:

yum install samba

Good luck!

Hi,

If linux driver is not available for your etheros card then you can use ndiswrapper. In ndiswrapper you can use windows network card driver under linux. But you will need internet connection to download ndiswrapper package and windows etheros driver.

For more help please visit http://alien.slackbook.org/dokuwiki/...re:ndiswrapper

Good Luck!

Thanks,
Amit

Or if you just want to install samba then you can configure yum with red hat CD/DVD.

Code:
1. Go to Packages folder on your DVD.
2. There you can find vsftpd??????.rpm package file.
run
Code:
rpm -ivh vsftpd??????????.rpm
3.
Code:
service vsftpd start
4.
Code:
chkconfig vsftpd on
5.
Code:
Copy your endire red hat DVD to /var/ftp/pub directory
6. Go to
Code:
/etc/yum.repos.d/
7. Create file with your favourite editor. Name it my.repo. Enter below content in that file.

Code:
[RedHat_Repo]
name=My Red Hat Repository
baseurl=ftp://localhost/pub #assuming you have copied DVD to pub and not in any subdirectory of pub
enable=1
gpgcheck=0
8. Run
Code:
   yum clean all
   yum update
   yum install samba
