Welcome to LQ.

Redhat Enterprise Linux server ver 5 update 3 : An old version from 2009.
Current is : Update 8. And soon to come : Update 9.
A "latest update" may include the missing <???> in the kernel modules.

An old OS and a brand new Gigabyte H61M-D2H :
Not much chance to get those working together.

Which device is it about ? Like SATA controller or sound chip ?

.

Please do not use all Capital letters. Is less readable.

1) If you insist in using an old OS, then try out at least EL5 update 8.
2) There may not be any drivers for the old EL5 kernel / Gigabyte GA-H61M-D2H.
... Please ask Redhat. That's what the customer support is for.
( Redhat EL is commercial. Not usable without a support subscription.)

3) EL 6 may work with the Gigabyte board.
4) The free versions are CentOS / Scientific Linux.
