Angry Driver for canon mp170

I need a driver that will work with Ubuntu 7 for my canon MP170 printer + instruction on installation. PLEASE

have you looked at openprinter.org?

It's for a different distro, but there is no reason it can't adapted to Ubuntu.

The Gutenprint driver appears to be in the Ubuntu repositories:
