Question dreamweaver for linux or something like that


Greetings:


I would like to know an html editor for linux. For windows theres dreamweaver.

Can anyone help me

As someone who has been on the forums for a while, you should be now familiar with the LQ search engine. Search for dreamweaver and also look at the bottom of this page to look at past threads similar to yours.

I like Bluefish--it is not a WYSIWYG like Dreamweaver and others, but it makes the html less tedious.

I seem to recall that Dreamweaver works on WINE and/or CrossOver Office.

Depending on what you are doing with DreamWeaver (or whatever), it might turn out to be (for you) a "killer app."

A "killer app" is an application that you'll buy a computer for; an app that will make it sensible for you to purchase a machine of a particular type and configuration just to run it.

When you say "an HTML Editor" and "DreamWeaver" in the same sentence, it suggests to me that perhaps you are still groping for "what you want to do." You need to start with a firm handle on that question first, because there are many many ways to achieve various ends.
