Dreaded FX5600

So i finally got my nvidia driver loaded. Had to mount cd in run level 3 and ran the .run file. I still am getting the blank screen thought when I switch it back to run level 5. Am I suppose to edit something else before I can get back to GUI mode?? I know it's gonna be something pretty easy...I just dont know it.

Don't really know but I though the GUI ran in runlevel 6. Is there much difference between runlevels 3-6?

If blank screen has a command line try:

Depending on your distro you might have to run a script to switch to nvidia - for Suse it is switch2_nvidia or something around that lines.
Also check with the xfree config file if it has the line driver "nvidia" in it.
