downloading question for MyahOS
Looking to get MyahOS 3 MousePro on disc, via custom source. Was told "There are no mirrors and while there are torrents, on one was seeding them", so the order was cancelled. I have no idea what this means. Can anyone translate? I always thought that if you could find a torrent, you can download it!

A torrent is just an info file, not the actual content. I has only information which servers can be used to connect to other systems. But if there is no system that provides the content the torrent itself is useless.
According to Distrowatch MyahOS is discontinued (last version 2008), so I wouldn't recommend to use it anyways.

I still want to trial it. So what exactly is nonfunctional about the Softpedia download site, or this one:
http://torrentz.eu/74b5a86a1b1705283...7d5c5fe6c7245c
Although the library has download blocker, both the above seem okay, and appear to be the "actual content", so I'm not understanding the problem.
Does anyone have a download source for this specific version of Myah OS?

No, it is not actual content, the site you linked to just provides a torrent file.
I could not find MyahOS on Softpedia.

Well I had found it on Softpedia yesterday...but today all Google comes up with is
http://www.linux23.com/download/myah...7d5c5fe6c7245c
which I assume has same problem as the others. So how do you tell which download source is valid (i.e. "actual content") from the timewasters?

All you always get from torrent sites are files with the suffix .torrent, which only contain download information. Those files usually are only a few bytes in size, so it is pretty easy to tell which ones are the time wasters.
