downloading neflix

I am very new in this game and I'm trying to download Netflix. I got everything downloaded. The netflix icon comes up and when I click on netflix icon nothing happens and I get an error message "couldn't load xpcom". Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Exactly what did you download? AFAIK, Netflix Instant Watching is not compatible with Linux. http://movies.netflix.com/WiMessage?msg=51

that is not entirely true. There have been several folks to get Netflix to function fully under some 32bit distros like Fedora and Ubuntu, but all of my attempts to be as successful with the 64bit vs of those distros has failed miserably.

So if you are wanting to use Netflix with Linux, then I suggest you install one of the following distros:

those are some of the top search results from google "installing netflix on linux"

Good luck.
