Question downloading Knoppix 5.

I am only just trying to download my first Linux distro, using bittorrent to download Knoppix v.5.1.1 DVD-2007-01-04-DE DVD.
Was ....DE a good choice, or should I have chosen ....EN from Bittorrent Tracker List?
And will it take days to download?
