Download ,run file type


I am attempting to you firefox to download a ".run" file.
The browser attempts fo view this file, instead of downloading
it....

How do I setup .run file extension to download instead of view?

I have checked in preferences but the file types window is unavailable....

dont know about that, but try downloading it with wget, by typing the following in a terminal:this way you can also continue the download if you get disconnected with
