Angry download from ftp


Pls hlp me or will cost me my job:

need to download a file from vsftp server as root from windows xp by telnettin and download it to a folder in xp?????

Well, unless the server is set up very badly, you can't.
Remote root access is usually disabled by default - because it is insecure.

What you need to do is make the file available to a non-root user.
