download file via wget

Perhaps the easiest way is to install an ftp server on your linuxbox, and use ftp to transfer the files.

My case is that , we use a application on linux , the user use Putty to access the application , I want the user to download the file from the application via Putty , not just run the command on the windows .

Perhaps you can contact IT, to see if it's possible to download files in their application.
