Downgrade XFree 4.3 to 4.2 HOW???
 

well I've been running mandrake 9.1 for about 4 days and just got used to it. One thing though is that I want to install WineX 3.0 to play win games but in order to do that I need to have drivers for my video card but in order to do that I need to have Xfree 4.2 which will let me install ATI drivers. I have Xfree 4.3 and have searched every forum on the net on what to do. I found GATOS drivers but I'm having trouble instlling them, and so I thought the best remedy is to downgrade to 4.2

The thing is I tried to uninstall 4.3 but mandrake says itll have to uninstall a crapload of files because of the dependencies. How would I go about uninstalling 4.3 and install 4.2 without the system going berserk??
