doubts about linux
 

hello guys....
i am new to linux. i am recently started to learn linux...
there ia a doubt in my mind that where is better scope either in java or in linux...??

please guys help me in clearing this doubt....
please reply fast....

What do you mean by "better scope"? Also, Java is a programming language, while Linux is an operating system (well, strictly speaking, it's a kernel), so they're two different things.

If you're asking whether Linux or Java would offer more job opportunities, I don't know, but as Nylex said, Linux is an OS and Java is a programming language. Most programming languages can be used for most operating systems, using a compiler for a specific architecture, but Java supposedly runs on any OS without modification. Personally, I think that Java runs slowly and I try to avoid it, but that's neither here nor there. In short, trying to compare Linux and Java is not productive, because they're entirely different things.
