Doubt regarding Sendmail?
I have been confused regarding this. Sorry if it makes no sense or is silly question.
May I know what does it mean when somebody says HE is unable to receive mail from different domain. Say, I have a machine with IP: 10.14.73.50 with intinfra.com domain. Does it mean that it is in intinfra.com domain if I provide simply : cat /etc/hosts 10.14.73.50 innova.intinfra.com innova Say, I have another machine called beta.ultrainfra.com with /etc/hosts: cat /etc/hosts 10.14.77.33 beta.ultrainfra.com beta These machines are all in the same network 10.14.x.x. Does it mean both are in different domain? |
Not really sure what you're asking, or if this helps at all, but intinfra.com and ultrainfra.com are in fact different "domains" (but on the same network).

Do You mean by simply providing hostname entry as machine1.intinfra.com to a machine make it as new domain. Even if I have two machine connected.
