Well Ive just got back from my local computer fair with a Rockwell 56k V.90 external modem...

The price was £29, rather cheap I though, and I was given wrong change so I only paid £27.

I connected it to my smoothwall box hit dial and a way I went..

I just want to say a big thanks to all of you that helped me...

There is one thing I need help with though.... (more newbie questions)

I want to set up dial on demand, I selected the radio button and then went over to my windows machine hit IE and typed in a URL.. NOTHING HAPPEND ???

Is there certain settings required ?????

From the IE menubar choose Tools>internet Options>Connections Tab. Setup or edit your connection.
