domain name change
 

hi guys,

I am in need of some help, i am setting up a postfix on my server and when i type the command domainname i get (none) hostname works but domain does not. how would I go about changing the domain name on my system and make the whole system see it, or at least change it at the core and then I could go about changing the rest

any help would be great

Use the domainname command

If not available, then in the start up files such as
/etc/rc.d/rc.local (Red Hat)
or /etc/rc.d/boot.local (SuSE)

create and export the domain name

export DOMAINNAME=example.com
