Domain name


Installing Ubuntu Studio failed automatic configuring the network so I need configure it manually. The computer ask for a DOMAIN NAME but I never had configured any Domain. Actualy I had another ubuntu computer. I know the mane of that computer but how can I get the DOMAIN NAME from the other computer? Some command?

well you can run "dnsdomainname" for that, but if these are individual machines it's utterly utterly irrelevant. Put whatever you feel like in there. I suggest "badger".
