Domain and specific 'word' blocking in firewall2

I'm using SUSE's firewall2 on my linux PC - which is the router for a home network. I ditched my DLINK router. The thing is it simple enough and was programmable to block out domain names and words etc.

I need pointing in the right direction on how to do this on my system now to prevent my kids from going places I don't want them going on purpose or accidently.

Thanks.

Hmmm ... have you conisdered using squid with squidguard,
rather than doing look-ups and dynamically blocking traffic
through the firewall?

Just a thought ... you'd also reduce traffic overall with
that proxy-solution.

Thanks - I do use Squid - is Squidguard built in that or a separate plugin (so to speak) is there something more you can tell me about what you're referring to in Squidguard.

Have a read, it's not very exhaustive.

And yes, it runs on top of squid, comes with
a list of things that should be filtered and that can
be easily extended with rules. There's also a
webmin-module for configuring squidguard.
