does wheezy has /var/log/security file ?


Hello everyone , recently I view my auth.log and find 20 or even more guys want to login my system via ssh . though they all failed . but I am not sure that if someone have successed login my system and also in my debian wheezy ,I can not find /var/log/security file . does wheezy do not have this file when system has already been installed ?or just someone delete it ?

What's there in /etc/hosts.deny and /etc/syslog.conf?
Debian wheezy possibly do not have /var/log/security file. However, check the file /var/log/secure.

For more help, once check this.

Thanks for help ! yes ,I view my /etc/rsyslog.conf and find my system do not /var/log/secure and /var/log/security .
